Processing personal data.

CHOCOLATIER handles personal data in accordance with the applicable Law on Personal Data Protection.

On behalf of CHOCOLATIER, we commit to safeguarding the privacy of all our customers. We only collect necessary, basic customer/user data and data necessary for business operations and user information in accordance with good business practices and to provide quality service. We give customers the choice, including the option to decide whether they want to be removed from mailing lists used for marketing campaigns. All customer/user data is strictly kept confidential and is only accessible to employees who need it to perform their job. All CHOCOLATIER employees are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection.

When entering credit card information, confidential information is transmitted in encrypted form over the public network using SSL protocol and PKI system, as the most advanced cryptographic technology currently available. The security of data during purchase is guaranteed by the credit card processor, Banca Intesa ad Beograd, so the entire payment process is carried out on the bank's pages. At no time are credit card data accessible to our system.
 

Respecting your privacy and recognizing the importance of protecting personal data, CHOCOLATIER informs you about its privacy policy regarding the use of its website and your rights, all in accordance with the valid Law on Personal Data Protection (hereinafter referred to as PDPL). Access to the website and browsing it is free. CHOCOLATIER does not require you to provide your personal data, unless you request certain services offered on the website.


The data controller, user, and processor of personal data is CHOCOLATIER.


Purpose of collection, method of use, and type of personal data: CHOCOLATIER collects your personal data for the purpose of providing services offered on the Website, such as purchasing products through the Website, order tracking, and e-marketing (sending newsletters). CHOCOLATIER commits and guarantees to process your personal data in a diligent and fair manner, applying appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized disclosure and misuse of your personal data, all in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law.


Your personal data will be processed until the receipt of a notice that you do not wish your data to be processed, or until the receipt of a notice that you do not wish to receive messages, after which all your data will be permanently destroyed. Depending on the purpose of collection and processing of personal data, as described above, CHOCOLATIER  may ask you to provide the following information: name, surname, username, email address, home address, city, postal code, country, and telephone number.
Basic principles of data collection and processing of personal information: In the aforementioned cases, CHOCOLATIER collects and processes your personal data based on the Personal Data Protection Law, which allows processing without consent for the purpose of fulfilling obligations determined by law, regulations, or contracts between individuals and the data controller, as well as for the preparation of contract conclusion.


Rights of the data subject in accordance with the PDPL: In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights: to request access to data (inspection, information, and copy issuance), correction, supplementation, updating, and deletion of data, as well as to notify us that you do not wish for your data to be processed or to receive messages, to be informed by CHOCOLATIER about the status of your request, as well as the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

f you send a notice stating that you do not wish for your data to be processed or to receive messages, CHOCOLATIER is obliged to permanently destroy all your data, without delay and no later than 15 days from the receipt of the notice.


In case of unauthorized processing of personal data, you have the right to initiate the appropriate proceedings against CHOCOLATIER in accordance with applicable regulations.
